Summerproof and colourful: you can whip up these cute bracelets in no-time!
Crochet needle: 1.5mm (US size 0/1.5mm)
Sizing: Bracelet 1 (with the pink arcs) is 18 cm, bracelet 2 (with the 5 colours) is 17 cm because the stitch pulls a bit.
Yarn: I’ve used Scheepjes Bonbon in the following colours:
Bracelet 1: Colour 238 and 786
Bracelet 2: Colour 280, 208, 281, 115, and 519.
Abbreviations (US terms)
- ch: chain
- ch4-sp: chain-4 space
- sc: single crochet
- ss: slip stitch
- st: stitch
Materials:
- 2x 12mm lobsterclasp in silver
- 4x 6mm eyelets in silver
- 2x 9 x 4mm cord ends in silver
- pliers to bend the ring.
Pattern
Bracelet 1:
With colour 238, ch58, turn.
R1: Start in 2nd ch from hook, crochet 57ch, cut yarn.
R2: Attach colour 786 with a ss, *sc in st, ch4, skip 3 st*, repeat between ** 13 times more, sc in last st, ch1, turn.
R3: *(3sc, ch2, 3sc) in ch4-sp, ss in sc*, repeat between ** 13 times more. Cut yarn. Attach a lobsterclasp to a 6mm eyelet. Use the yarn ends to attach the eyelets to the bracelet by weaving through the eyelets and the bracelet, and weave in the ends in the bracelet when you finish.
Adjusting size: If you want to adjust the size of the bracelet, work in multiples of 4ch+2.
Bracelet 2:
With colour 280, ch57, turn.
R1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, *sc, ch, skip 1 st*, repeat until the final-to-last st, sc, cut yarn.
R2: Attach colour 208 with a ss, *ch1, sc in ch-sp*, repeat until the final-to-last st, ch1, ss in last st, cut yarn.
R3: Attach colour 281 with a ss, *sc in ch-sp, ch*, repeat until the final-to-last st, sc in last st, cut yarn.
R4: Attach colour 115 with a ss, repeat R2.
R5: Attach colour 519 with a ss, repeat R3.
Fasten all ends. Squeeze the cord ends onto the ends of the bracelet. Attach a lobsterclasp to an eyelet, and attach this to a cord end. Attach another eyelet to the other cord end.
Adjusting size: If you want to adjust the size, work in multiples of 2ch+1.
