Hi guys! I’ve got quite a couple of things to tell and show you. Unfortunately… I did not have the time to photograph it properly yet! But just in short;
– Only 2 weeks left untill the ORIGINAL market! ! Don’t forget, the 30th of June, from 11-18 at Duinzigt Oegstgeest, Rhijngeesterstraatweg 40D. Check it out at http://www.originalmarket.nl/
-On the same note, I’ve got new scrabble coasters made and ready!!!
– On the same note again, the teacup candles are also almost finished. I went thrifting last week and I found the most beautiful teacups!
The left one has a really weird high handle! But the painting on it is marvellous. The right one is a Royall Ascott and just feels so luxury. Last night during the dishes I thought to myself: ‘Well, now I can genuinly say that these teacups belonged to an old lady who only drank from then on luxury occasions’. That’ll make a great sales pitch.
– My hands have also been busy with crocheting, resulting in various potholders (which are not yet blocked so they are kinda wrinkley at the moment).
And the best thing of all: I got the family crochet/knit heirlooms this weekend! My aunt dug up a few old stola’s and scarfs that belonged to my great-grandmother, who (she died when I was five and I did not express any particular creative instinct at the time) was awesome at knitting, crochetting and sewing. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL! Some are made with broomstick lace crochet, others are very tiny doilies. There are a few stola’s with patterns into them with flowers and paisleys and stuff like that. They’re drying right now (they kinda smelled like old lady, but not the nice parfumed smell haha) but when I have the time I will show them to you properly.
Furthermore, lots of deadlines to meet (OMG so many papers!!!!), lots of things to do (laundry… more laundry… and vacuuming might also be necessary) lots of fun activities at the moment (Paintballing last month, dinners with friends this month, thrifting, crocheting like hell to try to get everyting done in time).
O and a new thing; exercising… My friends persuaded me (I might or might not have had something to drink that night) to join the Colour run in Utrecht this August. It’s a 5 km run, so they thought it would be very much doable. For them, because they usually run 10 km. For me, not so much as I cannot run so much as 100 m without severe side effects… That’s going to be a bootcamp this month, they said they would get me ready in time and I sure hope so!
So much to do, so little time! I’ll talk to you guys in a little bit when I have proper pictures!
