The lake shawl is inspired by pictures of beautiful sunsets on the great lakes. The stitches in the motif create star shapes and triangles when joined in the corners.
Please note, the pattern is in UK terms. There are two versions of the shawl: A Stone washed version, and a River- and Stone Washed version. For each shawl you need either 7 balls of Stone Washed or 5 balls of River Washed and 2 balls of Stone washed.
Intermediate. You can crochet pretty much any stitch (and a new stitch as long as the proper guidance is in place), know the techniques to join and fasten off and are able to follow most written pattern instructions and/or charts.

The shawl measures 170cm (67in) in length and 60cm (22in) in width after blocking.
