Lake Shawl
The lake shawl is inspired by pictures of beautiful sunsets on the great lakes. The stitches in the motif create star shapes and triangles when joined in the corners.
Description
Please note, the pattern is in UK terms. There are two versions of the shawl: A Stone washed version, and a River- and Stone Washed version. For each shawl you need either 7 balls of Stone Washed or 5 balls of River Washed and 2 balls of Stone washed.
Difficulty
Intermediate. You can crochet pretty much any stitch (and a new stitch as long as the proper guidance is in place), know the techniques to join and fasten off and are able to follow most written pattern instructions and/or charts.
Crochet hook
4.0mm (US G/6).
Measurements
The shawl measures 170cm (67in) in length and 60cm (22in) in width after blocking.

- tr2tog: treble 2 stitches together (*yarn over, draw up loop, yarn over, pull through first 2 loops on hook; repeat from * once more, yarn over, pull through all loops on hook)
- tr3tog: treble 3 stitches together (*yarn over, draw up loop, yarn over, pull through first 2 loops on hook; repeat from * 2 twice more, yarn over, pull through all loops on hook)
