I've been working on this pattern for a while now and it's finally ready! Meet: Marlize blanket. Ever since I made the Charlie blanket, I wanted to make a 'sister blanket' with pinks and yellow colours. I've been toying with various raised patterns for a while, and in the end, this was the winner! The colours remind me of a late sunset. It might be my favourite colour combination at the moment!

The Marlize blanket uses textured stitches to create a raised pattern in this bold and bright baby blanket! Because the raised stitches are crocheted in one piece, the blanket is perfectly safe for babies and toddlers. The pattern comes with a cheat sheet, on which you can easily see how many stitches you need to make in the different segments, and instructions on how to alter the size.

For a large baby blanket (125 x 95cm, 49 by 37in) as pictured you will need 16 skeins of Scheepjes Merino Soft. Colours are listed in the pattern!
