Haha, the name is a lame pun as you can all agree. It must be made though, no way around it. If only there were more shades of grey to choose from, I could have made it even better!

But back to the real news: I'm very pleased to tell you guys that this blanket has found its way to a new home a couple of weeks back!

It all started with (quite) a few Granny squares:

Then on to the arrangement of the squares:

After that the joining as-you-go:

And last but not least: a border, consisting of a row of black, white, silver, grey and graphite!

I'm very pleased with how it has turned out! I didn't include white in the squares as it's such a stain-sensitive colour, but in the end, I decided to include it in the edging and I'm happy I did, it creates a catching ombre edging.

Some statistics:

started in: December 2013.
Finished: April 2014.

Yarn used: Stylecraft Special DK.

Colours: White, Silver, Grey, Graphite, Black.

Weight: Approx. 1.1kg, meaning that it contains about 3km yarn!

Size: 1.75 x 1.35m.

crochet hook: 5.5mm.

Stitch count: Roughly calculated, this blanket is made up out of 41.000 stitches. Pff... Best not to do the math on this one!
