This is the final pattern for the Last dance on the beach blanket! After this week, we’ll have 2 more weeks to go filled with joining and bordering, and then we have a complete blanket! The square for this week has been designed by Tammy from Canadutch. She’s mainly a knitter (have you seen the fabulous Mira Shawl she made? GORGEOUS!) but every now and then dabbles her toes into crochet. She has written a lovely blog post about her square too, which you can find here. I loved making this square, it’s very rhythmical and I’ve never used this stitch before!

Pattern & Video’s

Ok, so there are quite a lot of links to share for this square. First, you can find the pattern here (NL) or here (EN), or in the Facebookgroup. If you haven’t got a kit to make this, the kits are for sale at Woolwarehouse and Deramores, amongst others. Have you read the tips&tricks document yet? Make sure to do, it’s really useful! And if you have trouble with the written instructions, There are video’s in both Dutch and English available, made by Esther from It’s all in a Nutshell.
