Every tutorial on this page teaches a stitch or technique that appears in at least one Haak Maar Raak pattern. The idea is simple: if a pattern uses the Alpine stitch, you shouldn't have to search elsewhere to figure out how to work it. Everything you need is right here.
Each tutorial is written in plain English with step-by-step instructions and close-up photos. For more complex stitches, you'll also find a crochet diagram and, where available, a video walkthrough.
If you're just getting started, the Shell stitch, V-stitch and Bobble stitch are great entry points. They deliver satisfying stitches without too many steps.
Ready for something more ambitious? The Corner to Corner technique opens up a whole world of graphghan and geometric blanket designs.
