Small basket
With Colour A, make a magic ring.
Cut yarn.
Neon decoration
Take your neon yarn and thread a big needle. Insert the needle in the second-to-last row from the back to the front. Then move 1 stitch to the left and a row below, and stick the needle to the back. Then move a stitch to the right, a row below. Bring the needle back to the front and insert it in the same stitch as you did before. Now you’ve made a chevron. Via the backside, move one stitch to the left and a row up, then start over. When you embroider like this, you get chevrons on the outside and nice diagonal stripes on the inside.
Because the basket is worked in spirals, you need to switch rows somewhere. I chose to make a chevron that was positioned half a stitch lower. This way you’ll end on the same row as you started.
Medium basket
With Colour A, make a magic ring.
Repeat Rounds 1-10 for the small basket.
Cut the yarn.
Handles (make 2)
Using Colour B, and leave some yarn on the beginning end to sew the handle on later.
Attach the handles with running stitches. Weave in the ends.
Large basket
With Colour A, make magic ring.
Repeat Rounds 1-10 for the small basket.
Weave in all ends. You don't need to block the baskets, they stay in shape by themselves.
