Crochet pattern

Front

With Colour A, make a magic loop.

Round 1 (RS) 6 hdc. [6 hdc]

Round 2 (RS) 2 hdc in each hdc. [12 hdc]

Red version: From now on you’re going to make 2 bobbles in each odd row, and 1 bobble in each even row. Don’t think too hard about where your bobbles are going to be! This way, they’re going to be sprinkled all over. The bobbles count as a stitch.

Blue version: From now on you’re going to make a bobble every row. Don’t forget that the bobbles count as a stitch!

Round 3 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 1hdc) 6 times. [18 hdc]

Round 4 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 2hdc) 6 times. [24 hdc]

Round 5 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 3hdc) 6 times. [30 hdc]

Round 6 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 4hdc) 6 times. [36 hdc]

Round 7 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 5hdc) 6 times. [42 hdc]

Round 8 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 6hdc) 6 times. [48 hdc]

Round 9 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 7hdc) 6 times. [54 hdc]

Round 10 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 8hdc,) 6 times. [60 hdc]

Round 11 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 9hdc) 6 times. [66 hdc]

Round 12 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 10hdc) 6 times. [72 hdc]

Round 13 (2hdc in 1 hdc, 11hdc) 6 times. [78 hdc]

Because the bobbles are pretty small, I knotted the ends together before weaving the ends in.

Back

Repeat Rounds 1-13, but without the bobbles.

Assembly

Put the pieces with their backsides together. Join Colour A with a ss in any stitch. When crocheting, insert your hook through all loops of the front- and backside. Crochet 1hdc in every hdc around. Steam block the potholders.
