YARN, a new crochet,- and knitting- and textile crafts magazine!

Yarn 1

When I saw the preview of this magazine last bloggers weekend, I was blown away. The photography, the patterns, the styling, it all fits together. YARN is the new bookazine from Scheepjes: A biannual collectible with beautiful knit-, crochet- and more craft patterns, informative articles (about, you could have guessed, al types of yarn) and more. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I was one of the lucky few to receive a copy ahead of release! The first edition of this magazine is the ‘Sea issue’, with all patterns surround the central theme. It’s printed on gorgeously thick paper, and even more importantly, it lays flat when you open it! This will definitely come in handy when I’m going to try and knit the gorgeous Waves Shawl Berniolie has designed ;). The back flap has been perforated to keep track of any yarns you want to use, but there’s also space for a mood board and room for notes. It’s just all very well thought through.

Yarn (also translated into dutch!) is available for the introductory price of £4.95/ €6,95 online at Woolwarehouse, and in the Benelux it’s available through local Scheepjes Retailers as well.

I’m off to practice my tiny knitting with tiny yarn now!
