Spices blanket WIP

Good afternoon! I’ve been happily hooking away at my new blanket… The colours mix well together!

I said ‘ with a twist’. I’ve added a small extra harlequin motif in each motif. It really helps to visually break up the shapes! I love the Linen soft thus far. I have no trouble with splitting yarn whatsoever and the motifs turn out really soft and even after blocking! A job well done by Scheepjes!

I had my doubts about incorporating the pistachio green, but I’m glad I did! It brings a little bit of ‘freshness’ to the mix. But I’m a long way from finished! There are still a lot of motifs to go. Back to work for me!

Hoe origineel! Ik ben benieuwd naar het eindresultaat. Het ziet er alvast goed uit! En ik vind dat het groen het zo'n beetje een vintage uitstraling geeft. Helemaal fantastisch :)

Ik ben dol op ruiten! Wat een ontzettend gave variant heb je er op gemaakt. Ik ben erg benieuwd naar het eindresultaat.

Handig om te lezen hoe het garen bevalt. Er komt zoveel nieuw garen op de markt en het is te duur voor een miskoop. Het begin voor jouw deken ziet er mooi uit. Groetjes, Margaret

I think with lots of time and love ;) No, I was thinking about bordering each motive with the joining colour and then join-as-you-go. But I still have to see how that works out!

I think adding the pistachio color is what's going to make this blanket over the top gorgeous! Fabulous choice. The color palette is so perfect for this time of year (at least where I live :) I'm working on a solid diamond motif pillow cover right now, and of course I like your diamond motif better!
