  • The colours used for this week are:
    • Colour A: 21g
    • Colour B: 16g

  • In most rows, you’ll make a ch1 before turning your blanket. This is a turning chain and does not count as a stitch. If you find a ch1 is too small, you can also make a ch2. This depends on how tight you crochet.

Crochet pattern

V-stitch section 2

I added another section of V-stitch, to add some lightness between the more heavy, dense stitch sections.

Row 174 (RS) Join Colour B with a ss in the first stitch, ch3 (counts as first dc), skip 1 stitch, 1dc in next stitch, ch1, dc2tog with first leg in same st as last dc, skip 1 stitch, second leg in next st, ch1, *dc2tog with first leg in same st as last leg of previous dc2tog, skip 1 stitch, second leg in next st, ch1; repeat from * another 104 times, 1dc in same st as last leg, skip 1 st, 1dc in last st, cut yarn, turn. [4 dc, 106 dc2tog and 107 ch]

Row 175 (WS) Join Colour C with a ss in the first stitch, ch3 (counts as first dc), 1dc in ch-1 space of previous V, ch1, *dc2tog with one leg in the same ch-1 space as previous st and second leg in next ch-1 space (effectively crocheting a V right above the V of the previous row), ch1; repeat from * another 105 times, 1dc in same ch-1 space as previous st, 1dc in last st, cut yarn, turn. [4 dc, 106 dc2tog and 107 ch]

Row 176 (RS) With Colour B, repeat Row 175. [4 dc, 106 dc2tog and 107 ch]

Wind down with some rows of hdc. I know, there are plenty in this blanket. But they do work up easily!
